We leave in 3 months but we are already busy making preparations for this trip.
The air reservations are done, the hotel reservations are done, and the safari reservation and the post-safari stay are done. We even have a date set to meet up with Hans and his new husband in Amsterdam on the weekend when we are there.
But for this trip we need a Tanzania visa, which we'll need again in December for our cruise. So the passports have been mailed off to the Embassy of Tanzania in Washington, DC and we requested a "multiple entry visa". We hope that the passports will be on their way back to us later this week as we need to then order visas for India, Qatar, and Brazil for trips in November, December, and February 2015.
This will be a new adventure for both of us. We need some new clothes for our trip "into the bush".
I recounted my "countries visited" and Tanzania will be officially #95. I'll hit #100 when we visit Chile in February 2015 - we'll have to plan a special celebration!
Excitedly awaiting this new adventure.
