Tuesday, October 14, 2014 - Amsterdam to JFK to Ft Lauderdale - Day 20

We both woke up about 1.5 hours out of Amsterdam.  We had the express breakfast.  We landed in Amsterdam about 8 am and went to the business class lounge and caught up on email.

We headed to the next flight to NYC – loaded up and left on time.  It was raining in Amsterdam when we took off.  Tim watched movies as we crossed the Atlantic and I watched documentaries and took a long nap.  Good meals and nice Delta flight to JFK.
We arrived in JFK on time and went through immigration and customs in record time.  There was no one there.  No mention that we had been to Africa and the current ebola issues.  We went to the large Delta lounge and relaxed for a couple of hours.  Then we took the shuttle to the other Delta terminal for our flight to Ft Lauderdale.  We got there early so we went to the other Delta club lounge and relaxed there until the flight loaded.

Left NYC on time – arrived in Ft Lauderdale 3 hours later completing our 20 day, XXXX mile adventure.  We got a taxi to the Venetian.  When we got in the apartment Tim took a shower and went to bed.  I unpacked some and followed him to bed and we both slept over 10 hours.  What an adventure we have had!!!
18,336 miles traveled by air and 3,000 kilometers traveled by safari vehicle.  We saw a lot of new things and had a fabulous experience.  Thoroughly enjoyable.  Thanks, Safari Legacy!
Time to plan another trip.
